Terms and Conditions

  1. DELIVERY - We endeavour to deliver goods within the period stated at time of sale, however as most deliveries are completed by 3rd party couriers - we cannot accept liability for delays or losses as a result of delays.
  2. If a product is ordered & confirmation given & subsequently the order is cancelled a cancellation charge will apply. This charge will be higher if the product has been despatched to our courier prior to delivery or the courier has attempted delivery.
  3. Delivery should be to the same address as the credit card is charged unless there are special reasons for a differing delivery address. Should this be the case you should advise your credit card company that you are ordering goods for delivery to a different address and note that you may be required to provide proof of invoice address before your order is processed. You will be advised on our receipt of your order should further information be required.
  4. When placing an order PEelectics must be advised of any special requirements regarding delivery. This should include a) location – access problems. b) Entrance to use etc. Please read further information.
  5. PEelectrics will advise you in advance of the day of delivery. Deliveries by manufacturer or a third party can only be arranged "home all day" unless specifically agreed otherwise - there may be an additional charge for this service.
  6. Delivery of appliance does not include installation or connection. If installation is required PEelectrics must be advised at the time of ordering and will, if possible make arrangements (this excludes all gas appliances). We will advise additional charges prior to delivery. Gas appliances should only be connected by an approved registered "Corgi" engineer.
  7. In certain areas PEelectrics may undertake delivery of your goods - in these instances it is normally possible to arrange AM or PM deliveries, also connection to existing adjacent services (excluding gas products). We will advise at time of ordering when this service applies.
  8. Please note: PEelectrics reserve the right to refuse to connect products (where this has previously been arranged) if they consider it unsafe to do so, or could do damage or misuse as a result.
  9. We regret that we are unable to connect gas appliances. An approved Corgi engineer should undertake Connection/ Installation and checks of these products.
  10. PEelectrics are not able to accept responsibility for goods damaged in transit, parts missing or loss of products unless advised by the customer within 7 working days from date of delivery.

Returns Policy

Unwanted Goods

PEelectrics will accept the return of most unwanted, unsuitable or incorrectly ordered brand new goods subject to being advised in writing, either by post or email within seven days of delivery. A valid PEelectrics receipt or proof of purchase will be required.

Collection of the Goods

Any unwanted, unsuitable and incorrectly ordered goods may be returned:

a. By the customer at their expense - subject to arrangements being made in advance with PEelectrics

b. By collection by PEelectrics following prior arrangement and at the customers cost. All goods must be suitably boxed or wrapped prior to the collection. We will advise the customer of the cost.

Collected/Returned Goods

Certain goods, when ordered, are specific to customers requirements and may attract a collection/return charge, i.e.

  1. Goods that have been made to the customers specifications or clearly personalised or goods which by reasons of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  2. Goods for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software if they are unsealed by the customer.
  3. A product which cannot be re-sold.

Any goods that are collected/returned must be brand new, un-used and must be fully packed in the original, or similar, packaging.

Used goods cannot be returned.

Following the return/collection we will carry out an inspection of the product and refund the customer.

Please note - goods accepted damaged (please see delivery information). The manufacturer may offer to inspect (free of charge) and repair or rectify, provided they have not been misused.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Deliveries

IMPORTANT: INFORMATION REGARDING INCORRECTLY ORDERED GOODS

PLEASE CAREFULLY CHECK THE DETAILS OF YOUR ORDER, PAYING PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE MAKE, MODEL, TYPE, SIZE AND COLOUR ETC. OF THE PRODUCT ORDERED, TO ENSURE IT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU REQUIRE.

PRODUCTS ORDERED INCORRECTLY, OR PRODUCTS THAT ARE UNWANTED FOLLOWING DELIVERY, WILL IN CURE A COST TO COLLECT THE GOODS, ALSO A RE-STOCKING CHARGE.

  2. Having submitted your order you will receive an acknowledgement by email within 48 hours. Availability and delivery arrangements will then be confirmed and any queries dealt with. Your order will then be processed and payment collected. In the unlikely event we are unable to supply the goods due to their unavailability, we will be happy to refund any payment made.
  3. It should be noted that all goods are subject to availability and some products may be discontinued by the manufacturer.
  4. We regret that stated delivery times may be extended as a result of holiday closures (particular Christmas) and production delays, this is unavoidable during certain times of the year and is beyond our control.
  5. Any additional service requests should be stated on your order form.
  6. Delivery must be signed for by an adult, aged 18 years or over.
  7. Delivery of all major products - See terms and conditions .
  8. Deliveries can only be completed on the condition that adequate facilities are available for the safe and prompt unloading by driver.
  9. Products will normally be delivered in perfect condition, however you should inspect the goods carefully on receipt and refuse them should they appear damaged or faulty in any way or it is the incorrect product. Please mark the drivers delivery note, 'refused, damaged or incorrect' and advise the manufacturer immediately. The manufacturer will then arrange a replacement on a suitable date. Please advise us by email for our information.
    Should it not be possible to inspect the goods on delivery, please check them asap. PEelectrics must be advised of any problems within 48 hours of delivery. In most cases the manufacturer will not consider any claim for damage beyond this point.
    Do not plug in and use a product that is damaged as the manufacturer will not consider exchange on a ''used'' product, only repair.
  10. One person only completes deliveries- if a second person is required there will be an additional service - this must be arranged at time of order.
  11. Delivery can only be arranged and completed on the condition that it will not be necessary to dismantle the product or parts of, in order to deliver the product.

Pre-Delivery information - Please read the following carefully

Prior to delivery:

  1. Please make sure you are home on the day arranged for delivery. If nobody is home to accept goods a redelivery charge will be made. This charge will be £25.00 - £100.00 depending on the goods.
  2. Delivery will be carried out either by the manufacturer directly, a courier company or in certain areas by PEelectrics. This is to achieve the fastest possible delivery time and to ensure you receive the goods in the best possible condition.
  3. Should you have any queries, e.g. change of delivery date/delivery access etc, please contact us via email at customerservices@PEelectrics.co.uk quoting your order number.

On receipt of your delivery:

  1. Products will normally be delivered in perfect condition, however you should inspect the goods carefully on receipt and refuse them should they appear damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied in any way. Please mark the drivers delivery note, 'refused, damaged' and advise PEelectrics immediately. PEelectrics will then arrange a replacement on a suitable date. Please advise us by email for our information.
  2. Should it not be possible to inspect the goods on delivery, please check them asap.
  3. The manufacturers and PEelectrics must be advised of any problems within 7 days of delivery.
  4. In most cases the manufacturers will not consider any claim for damage beyond this point.
  5. Do not plug in and use a product that is damaged as the manufacturer will not consider exchange on a ''used'' product, only repair.
  6. Should you install your product then experience any faults of a mechanical nature you should:
    1. Brand New or Near New product: Contact the manufacturer directly in the first instance and they will initiate technical advice/repair/replacement as required.
    2. Products within the manufacturers guarantee period: Contact the manufacturer directly and advise them of the problem.
    3. In either case please also advise PEelectrics, we will assist or note your problem for future reference.

Continuing problems:

We will, of course assist should you continue to experience difficulties after your initial contact with the manufacturer. In order to do this you should firstly contact us by email. Following receipt of this email, we will request that you complete a Service Claim Form detailing your problem and any action that has been taken to date. We will then contact the manufacturer on your behalf to rectify the situation, advising you in due course by email as information becomes available.
